Truck Driver

Denver Hardwood, a Wholesale Distribution Company, is looking for a responsible Delivery Driver for our Colorado Springs branch to distribute products to our customers. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hardwood flooring and supplies to homes and businesses through-out the Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.
  • Follow routes and time schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle and forklift
  • Complete logs and reports

Inside Sales Associate

Denver Hardwood, a Denver Wholesale Distributor, has an immediate need for a full-time Customer Service/Inside Sales person at our Denver location. If you’re looking for the perfect opportunity with a firmly rooted fun and fast paced organization committed to adding value to our customer’s businesses, this is the place for you! This position will be responsible for answering heavy call volume, in-person customer interaction and entering online orders into the computer. This roll is multi-faceted and may require assisting in purchasing, will-call orders, processing back orders, showing customers products in our showroom, answering product questions, and other duties as necessary.

We need a high energy individual that wants to grow with a company and can work well under pressure, must be able to multitask.

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide product information regarding product features, availability, and pricing
  • Process customer orders from initiation through shipping and follow-up, including
    • Receipt and entry of customer orders
    • Tracking and prioritization of operations efforts to fulfill customer orders through appropriate personnel
    • Communication to the customer regarding order status
    • Resolution of customer complaints
    • Maintenance of customer order files
    • Process returns and credits
    • Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer
    • Facilitate sampling needs of customers
    • Preparation of various reports, including on-time delivery, order fulfillment accuracy, backlog, etc.
  • Additional duties will be assigned in accordance with the needs of the facility, current business requirements, and the needs of the company.

Sales Administrative Assistant

Denver Hardwood currently has an opening at our Denver location for a Sales Administrative Assistant.  This position will be responsible for assisting the sales and purchasing departments by streamlining and organizing information in a clear and easy to read format. Primary goals will be to assist with the tracking and communication of customer orders by working with the sales and purchasing teams. This role will strive to meet and exceed customer service expectations as well as have the ability to implement new ideas and procedures that will improve tracking and daily processes.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assist in tracking customer back orders through our order management system.
  • Communicating backorder and ETA information to the customer and sales team.
  • Analyze and maintain aged orders in order management system.
  • Provide sales support to sales team by entering and filling sample/display orders.
  • Maintain sample room that provides national support for sample fulfillment.
  • Create/maintain sales volume and display tracking to provide to the Sales Manager.
  • Provide Showroom support to retail customers.
  • Keep showroom clean and samples stocked. Track any samples checked out by customers.
  • Provide backup to our customer service team during peak times by performing the following tasks:
  • Receipt and entry of customer orders
  • Communication to the customer regarding order status
  • Maintenance of customer order files
  • Process returns and credits
  • Preparation of various reports, including on-time delivery, order fulfillment accuracy, backlog, etc.
  • Regular Attendance to comply with PTO and employee absence policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Warehouse Material Handler

Denver Hardwood currently has an opening at our Denver location for a Warehouse Material Handler.  This is a full- time position that includes benefits.  Hours are Monday – Friday.

The Material Puller maintains inventory accuracy while picking orders, locating and verifying materials,  communicating professionally with customers, moving materials to staging area, loading product on transportation vehicle, and operates all equipment used in the warehouse.

Associates are trained and must be competent in operation of forklift and other tools necessary to perform their duties.  Reading directions and processing orders accurately is critical.

Essential Job Duties

  • Retrieves inventory by locating and verifying materials and moving materials to staging area or to transportation vehicle.
  • Reads directions, and processes orders accurately and in a timely fashion. Prompt and accurate order processing is a critical customer satisfaction goal and requirement of the company.
  • Loads transportation vehicles by stacking and securing materials.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy warehouse/shipping material handling environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge
  • Operate equipment safely to protect yourself and your associates from injury.
  • Clean operating area on an ongoing basis, and end of day.
  • Process returns and receive inbound materials from customers.
  • Other duties as assigned
