White Oak is light brown with paler sapwood; strong, tough, heavy, fine to medium grained and durable. Flooring generally has an open grain appearance.

Heritage Unfinished Flooring – Red Oak
Red oak is similar in general appearance to white oak, but with a slightly less-pronounced figure due to the smaller rays. It is mostly straight-grained, with a coarse texture. The sapwood is white to light brown and the heartwood is reddish brown.

Heritage Unfinished Flooring – Hickory
Hickory is very strong and hard. Hickory sapwood is white to cream-colored. The heartwood is tan or reddish brown.
